The Ark 1st Birthday!!!
The Ark had its 1st Birthday on the 3-4th September and it was a BIG BASH!!! The worship team from Oranjemund Full Gospel Church blessed us with praise that lifted the roof. As we didn't worship under a roof but in the open air infront of the Ark. The Saturday different people made "potjie" and enjoyed each other company.
The Ark is heading for bigger things and new heights!! Watch This Space!!
This poster was plastered all over London during the second World War & thought what an amazing piece of advice.
There are definitely times & seasons when we feel like we are being bombarded on all fronts. Sometimes by the enemy who wants to steal kill and destroy our lives, and other times just by life's circumstances. When things appear to be spiraling out of control, when we feel like everything is falling apart, when things do not work out quite how we planned or anticipated, when people let you down or hurt you, that is not the time to retreat, react, or recoil, but rather to simply KEEP CALM & CARRY ON.
Just keep doing whatever it is the Lord told you to do, keep your focus on Him not the obstacles, hurdles, disappointments or circumstances and you will find that He will go before you, protect and shield you. "He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge. His truth shall be your shield and buckler." Psalm 91:4
Blessings.

Are you willing and available to be used by God?
We had a great weekend at the Ark. Uncle Maci and his team visited the Ark and gave an inspiring word that God can use anybody. The Ark is doing great work in the community and was encouraged to keep on keeping on changing our world, one child/adult at a time. The question is not will God use you, but are you willing and available for Him to use you. Our life on this earth is but a vapor but your life can have ETERNAL value, not just this age but also the age to come. Let's make a difference in our world by touching the lives of those around us. Encourage someone today!! Enjoy the video below. Blessings

Are you fitting in or standing out?
One of people's greatest needs is to fit in - in to a society, in to whatever group or company they find themselves. If being themselves is not what they thought is required of the group they will change and become somebody they were never fashioned to be.
As a Christian we were not designed to fit in. We are not the same. We are in this world but not from it. Our passport has changed! Heaven Citizen! Were the Govener is Jesus Christ and his domain is Kingdom domain. So as a Heaven Citizen we are designed, our DNA, is that of God himself. We are crazy as Christians we are driven by a force much bigger than ourselves within us. Our goal is clear and that is to be the most we were designed to be on this temporary habitation called earth. We are here to impact a community, a nation the world.
God will never help you to be someone else! You are the most effective when you are you, with your dynamics and personality all fashioned together with the master very own hands. You are not a failure, you were perfectly put together. There is a reason why you have blue/brown/green eyes or your length or anything about you.
I believe when you realize who you REALLY are, you will EXPLODE with possibilities and dreams. There is a nation waiting for you to arise and shine!
Where are you at this moment in your Christian Walk? Have you given up hope? Have you become despondant? Have you conformed your life to fit in?
If you are tired of fitting in or being despondant, call on to Jesus, pour your heart out to Him. His ears is close to the broken hearted and to those that have no hope. He will make a way where there seems to be no way, He is the God of the impossible. If you never had a revelation of this side of God, trust God with all your heart and He will make a WAY where there seems to be no way.
MAY YOU STAND OUT FOR JESUS CHRIST LIKE NEVER BEFORE!!

Are you willing to be interupted?
Morning Bloggers
I have found that some of the most awesome time in meeting with people wast mostly when I was distracted from my "normal" day activity to experience the awosomeness of being in the right place at the right time at the right moment affecting eternity!
Last week thursday on my way to the mall in Alexander Bay I met up with Loyd and Isabel who are touring through South-Africa in the awareness in riding for horses, what made it so awesome, that I was not planning to go to the mall but went anyway, and all the little things of parking at the right place and connecting up with them just fall into place.
We had a awesome time in connecting with them, and was able to help them in their journey ahead. We were able to share our faith with them and believe the seed that was planted will bring up a harvest.
You can visit their website on: http://www.ridingforhorses.co.za/index.php?p=-1
Please have a look on our Facebook site for all the awesome photo's!
Word for the day - Allow the Holy Spirit to "interupt" your day!
May Christ BE the purpose off all that you do today!

Heart of Worship!
"When Jesus is the shephard, we want to be the sheep. When He is the potter, we want to be the clay!" - Julies Magan
Last night the body of Christ was blessed and inspired as we attentively listened to his heart, prophecy's and songs of Julies Magan and his ministering team. The theme of the night was getting back to the feet of Jesus just to hang out with him. Awesome presence in the house as Julies, Shane (Julies' son) the guitar player and Morne the piano player led us into heart led worship. The house worshipped in ways I never heard before. The church was jam packed and we were glad that we brought extra seats in.
We will use this page to share all the testimony's of last night, and know that the fire that was ignited last night in many will spread to the ends of the earth.
Blessings,
M

Julius Magan will be Ministering in Alexander Bay on the 1st July!
Julius Magan will be ministering in Alexander Bay on the 1st of July, contact the church office for more details.
ABOUT JULIUS:
Julius was born on 3rd April, 1959 in Natal, South Africa
Julius was born into a very musical family, he decided from a young age to be the exception and refused any formal music training. After having completed his schooling in Port Shepstone, Julius went farming for a short period before embarking on his compulsory ( as it was for all young men at that time in South Africa) term of military service in the South African Defence Force. It was during the latter part of his military service, in 1981, that Julius was invited to attend a Rheinhardt Bonnke church service. Julius’ life was radically transformed and it was from that very night that he knew he was called for the ministry, he knew it would just be a matter of time before he’d stand in full time ministry.
The following year Julius attended Bible College in Durban, for a short period before being directly involved with evangelizing to the lost. It was here that he discovered his evangelistic heart, while working with and ministering to the street people on Point Road, Addington and various other places in the Durban area. It was here too, that he discovered the power of worship / music as a means to touch and reach the hearts of the hurting and unsaved.
It was during this time in Durban that he met , Theresa, who was to become his wife at the end of 1984. Julius and Theresa have now been married for over 24 years and have 3 children. After having married in 1984, Julius and Theresa settled in Rayton, a small country town outside Pretoria. For the next few years Julius was involved in the property business, running a few estate agencies of his own. While living in Rayton, Julius’ churched approached him about getting involved in and leading the Praise and Worship for them, this proved to be instrumental in paving the way to full time ministry. A short time later Julius obediently bid the business world farewell and followed the call of his heart into ministry. This proved to be one of the most difficult periods as he learnt to trust and rely completely upon the Lord for his family’s most basic needs, but as Julius learnt early on in his walk with the Lord, God is always faithful. Today, many years of ground breaking work later, he has many heart- rendering testimonies of God’s faithfulness and power in their lives.
Julius and his family now live in Kroonstad, after having relocated from Pretoria almost 7 years ago as a result of the Lord showing them that Kroonstad, and not Atlanta, USA, was where He wanted them. Julius had been asked to take a position in Atlanta, Georgia and it was during this time of seeking the Lord for direction concerning this offer of immigrating to the USA, that both he and Theresa knew that, that was not where the Lord wanted them at the time. Now , almost 7 years later, Julius is reaping and experiencing the rewards of trusting the Lords guidance in that situation.
Today all of Julius’ children passionately serve the Lord, for which he and Theresa are extremely grateful to the Lord, since there are so many distractions and influences upon our young people today. Theresa, Julius’ wife, is also an important part of the ministry as she handles the administrative part of the ministry. Shane, their eldest son, travelled with and played guitar for Julius for a year after having completed his schooling in 2004. Shane has also featured with Julius on his last four CD’s, Beautiful, Dream Maker, Daardie Deur and the latest, The Worship Sessions Volume one. Matthew, will also be spending a year travelling with Julius before embarking on his studies. He will be more involved on the technical side of the ministry. Megan, 13, who has also featured with Julius on his last two CD’s, has slowly started ministering in song , when possible, with her dad. She, like Shane, share Julius’ gift and passion for music and worship.
Julius spends a great deal of time travelling and ministering in churches of all denominations across South Africa and our neighbouring countries including abroad when time allows. Julius has a heart first and foremost for the people of Southern Africa.
His Ministry:
Julius is an evangelist at heart and music and worship is a major part of the message that Julius brings, and at times is the message. Julius’ heart is not merely to sing a song, perform or to entertain. His driving force is to see people truly meet with their Saviour and come to know Jesus Christ in a more personal and intimate way. The family and family values are of great importance to Julius, it is his desire and joy to see families restored and healed by the Lord as they open the door to, and seek the voice of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
Julius spends much of his preparation time at the feet of the Lord and its there that the Holy Spirit speaks to Him, during these times of intimacy in worship. He believes a heart that is surrendered to the Lord, is a heart that will seek the presence of the Lord. His worship can therefore best be described as “free flow” or “new worship”. A distinct characteristic of Julius ministry is the spontaneity as he relies on the Holy Spirit, often most of Julius’ ministry of worship /song is completely unplanned and unrehearsed. Not knowing where he is going makes him so much more dependent and reliant on the Lord and His Holy Spirit. Julius is driven, in ministry to find the song from the Fathers heart.
Each ministry is exciting and unique as he relies on the creativity of the Holy Spirit. For many, the result of Julius being totally spirit led is life changing. Many of Julius’ passionate worship songs are birthed during ministry as he yields to and hears from the Fathers heart.
An element of faith is most certainly required for true worship and is just as essential in Julius’ unpredictable, unconventional style of worship. Worship is not the way you play an instrument or sing, or even what you sing, it’s the way you touch God. This is all too true in Julius’ form of worship and ministry, as it’s his constant desire to touch the Fathers heart through intimate worship. As Julius ministers to the Lord through his simple songs and passionate worship - lives are so often radically changed by the power of God’s presence - and no man can ever take the glory for that.
Julius doesn’t often do traditional Christian songs, he believes that God desires and loves to hear from His children in their own personal expression of worship to Him. During Julius’ worship and ministry, it’s his desire to create an atmosphere or sound that will usher in the presence of the Lord that will ultimately reach the unreachable and touch the untouchable.
Julius has been given a gift, which he expresses in spontaneous worship that takes the hearer into the presence of the Lord, and it is there that healing and restoration begin.
Lives must change in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ otherwise all is done in vain.
It is not easy to classify Julius’ style of music or worship, apart from saying it is uniquely his own, ultimately it is pure worship.
BE SURE NOT TO MISS THIS!!

Brief van Angola!
Liewe Gebedsvriende
23 Mei 2010
Ek tans besig om ʼn boek van Francine Rivers te lees ,oor die Profeet Amos en so saam lees ek die boek Amos in die Boodskap.ʼn Stukkie wat my nogal getref het en aan die bid en bedink het is die volgende:”God was holding the nations accountable for what they’d done against His people, but He would also hold His people accountable for the way they live before the nations”…..en dit is mos ook waar vir ons as ingeente lote …”.He has chose us and has called us to be unique,an example to all nations…all people “…..sommer net so onder die induk hoe belangrik dit is om gereeld ʼn mens se manier van leef te evalueer deur Sy oë.
Luanda
Grond in Luanda !!!!
Arbeid is baie duur !!!!!
Pastoor Morais:
Dit bring ons by hul peetkind,Esperança.
Dit bring ons by 3 eintlik 4 baie dringrnde gebedsversoeke :
1. vir ʼn Landbouer,

the POWER of Praise!
What is praise:
According to the Dictionary:
- Expression of approval, commendation, or admiration.
- The extolling or exaltation of a deity, ruler, or hero.
- To express warm approbation of, commendation for, or admiration for.
- To extol or exalt; worship.
In Hebrew the word praise means:
Halal (haw-lal'): To make a load clear sound of praise. The original Hebrew also carried the meaning of being clamorously foolish, to rave, or to celebrate. Thus to express worship in halal means unbridled, exuberant praise.
When you are going through a tough time one of your most powerfull weapons is to praise God, and the things that seemed big and impossible will feel very small and possible.
Habakkuk 3:17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. 19 The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights. For the director of music. On my stringed instruments.
Let's experience the power of praise!

Senior Day at the Ark!
The Ark's youth invited the seniors of Alexander Bay and they were treated with tasty food, fellowship, a message of God's word and gifts. God just wanted to remind them how special they are and that He still have a BIG plan with their lives!
Isaiah 46:4 "Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you."
Age isn't a problem with God, He is looking for whom He can send.
We were overwhelmed by His presence and laid hands on everyone there. They left refreshed and encouraged to change their world for Christ.
I encourage you to be a blessing to someone in your world today.
Word 4 the Day...
Money
"Because you have been trustworthy..." Luke 19:17
Money will buy you a bed but not sleep, books but not brains, food but not an appetite, a house but not a home, medicine but not health, luxuries but not happiness, image but not character, and religion but not salvation. You say, 'Does that mean God doesn't want me to have money?' No, He will actually trust you with more money when you demonstrate that your trust is not in your money, but in Him alone (1Timothy 6:17). The Bible teaches three things about money: 1) When you become a good steward of what you have, God will entrust you with more. '...Then he sent for the servants to whom he had given the money, in order to find out what they had gained with it. The first one came and said, '...Sir, your mina has earned ten more.' 'Well done, my good servant!...' his master replied. '...Because you have been trustworthy in a very small matter, take charge of ten cities' (Luke 19:15-17 NIV). 2) When your focus is on serving others, God will entrust you with more. When Job took the focus off himself and began to pray for others, '...The Lord...gave him twice as much as he had before' (Job 42:10 NIV). 3) When you can walk away from material things to do God's will, God will entrust you with more. Abraham left the security of his home to fulfil God's plan, and he ended up one of the world's wealthiest men. On the other hand, the rich young ruler said no to following Christ because the cost was too high (See Mark 10:17-22). You ask, 'What was the cost?' Everything!

Word 4 the Day...
Go All the Way
...And go all the way with him... Philippians 3:10
While John was a prisoner on the Isle of Patmos, far from his loved ones and surrounded by the cries of abused captives, he had a vision of Jesus. He writes, '...When I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead...' (Revelation 1:17 NKJV). Incredible revelation in the midst of confinement, chaos and pain; that's how it works! The difficult circumstances you're going through right now can actually clear your perceptions, cause you to seek God as never before, and find answers for your life. John's predicament proves that negative experiences don't hide the Lord; they reveal Him. Instead of destroying you, Satan's attack can actually develop you. Yes, it stresses you, but it also stretches you spiritually. In Hebrews chapter 11 we see two things: the deeds of their faith and the depth of their faith. Where did God prove His faithfulness to Daniel? In the lions' den. Where did the Lord reveal Himself to the three Hebrew children? In a fire heated seven times over. There's a place in God where fiery trials consume everything except your desire to know Him. Though that place may sometimes escape your grasp, never let it escape your gaze. It was Paul's all-consuming goal: 'I gave up all that inferior stuff so I could know Christ personally, experience his resurrection power, be a partner in his suffering, and go all the way with him.' There it is: no reservations, no retreat, and no regrets; just a desire to know God intimately and a commitment to 'go all the way with him.' Let that be your heart's desire today!

Word 4 the Day...
Having integrity
...Stay close to anything that makes you want to do right... 2 Timothy 2:22
Comedian Red Allen, said, 'You only live once. But if you work it right, once is enough.' So, how can you work it right? By living by your convictions every day; do that, and you will have few regrets. Living a life of integrity involves: a) thinking regularly about your values and letting them soak in b) constantly measuring your choices against God's Word and whenever it is appropriate, talking about them. This not only cements your values, it also adds a level of safety and accountability. We get into trouble when our convictions and our impulses collide. When everything's going our way it is not difficult to live by our convictions. But 'where it comes to the crunch,' is when those convictions demand that we do something that will hurt or cost us! Spiritual people do what is right, no matter how they feel about it. You do not feel your way into doing what is right; you act first, act scripturally, act consistently - your feelings follow suit. Usually it does not involve anything dramatic; the tough decisions are the everyday ones. Character is built like a wall, one brick at a time. Nice people may appear to finish last, but usually it is because they are running a different race. Running that race involves pausing regularly to examine your life and to pray with the Psalmist, 'Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting' (Psalm 139:23-24 KJV).

Jesus and Easter Eggs.
The Meaning Of Easter
Many people are wondering what Easter actually means, as the true meaning of Easter has been lost. What I can tell you is it isn’t about cute little fluffy chickens, nor does it have anything to do with Easter bunnies. It isn’t even about Easter eggs. Although an egg can represent ‘new life’ because new life hatches from the egg, and Jesus was resurrected on the third day – giving us new life in Him. But just like Christmas, the real meaning has been forgotten. For those of us that are Christians, we understand what Easter is all about. But for those that haven’t experienced this ‘new life’ in Jesus, I want to share with you the Easter story.
In Old Testament times, the priest would bring bulls, goats or a spotless lamb without any blemishes to be sacrificed as a sin offering for himself and for the people. The blood would purify and make atonement (forgive, make amends) for their sins. This was the old order of atonement. When Jesus came, He was a representation of the sacrificial lamb to take away the sins of the world. He was the final sacrifice. We no longer have to sacrifice animals to make atonement for our sins. Jesus has done this once and for all. It’s His blood that cleanses us from all sin. He was crucified on the cross (the form of execution in those days). The sin of the world was upon Him, yet He was without sin and blameless. He bore it all. This is why Jesus is referred to as the ‘Lamb of God’. He was bodily resurrected (came back to life) on the third day. He appeared to many – eating and drinking with them. He appeared to them for 40 days, then ascended (went up to) Heaven.Acts 1: 1-11
Celebrate Jesus Christ risen from the dead this Easter because the SAME POWER that raise Christ from the dead lives IN you!!
Make a difference this Easter, TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS!!
Blessings!!

'n Brief van ons sendelinge van Angola!
24 Maart 2010
Liewe Gebedsvriende
Dit was n tyd vir hul vol uitdagings.
Bly asb.
Ons as gesin sal dus voor 12 April
in Luanda moet arriveer.
Waardeer jul getroue ondersteuning. Weet ons waardeer jul elkeen.
Wessel,Joan en Tiago
